MEET OUR STAFF
Christine McFadden was born and raised in northern Ohio. She completed her undergraduate education at Akron University and it was there that she met her husband of 29 years, David. They have been blessed with 2 amazing children—a daughter, Alexandria and a son, Nicholas. Christine and her family have lived many places across the country and abroad. They moved to Virginia in 2007 and have enjoyed making it their home. In her free time, Christine likes to take in the outdoors by hiking, skiing, or kayaking. Christine has worked in the dental field in Greene County for the past 10 years and she looks forward to continuing to serve this beautiful community. Drs. Flaherty and Sauls are very grateful for the opportunity to have Christine by their side as they open the doors to their new practice.
Ashley King is originally from the Culpeper area, but moved to Stanardsville five years ago with her husband, Stephen, and their two dogs Rocco and Deuce. Ashley is an avid hunter and outdoorswoman and in the summer, she can often be found at the Outer Banks enjoying beach life. Ashley has worked as a dental assistant for more than 5 years and she is happy to continue that here in Greene County. Ashley loves meeting and getting to know new people and that is one of her favorite things about her job. Both Dr. Flaherty and Dr. Sauls feel extremely lucky to have Ashley with them as they begin their new practice.
Renae Reed hails from nearby Madison County where she lived until relocating to Greene County two years ago after purchasing her first home. She has strong ties to the area and to her siblings and parents. She enjoys participating in obstacle races and mud runs, but mostly loves hanging with her adorable dog, Bon, in her free time. Renae has worked in the dental field for eight years following completion of the CATEC Dental Assisting Program in Charlottesville. She has worked with both Drs. Flaherty and Sauls in the past and they are thrilled to have her as part of their new team.
Ujena Johnson is from the island of Oahu, Hawaii, but has been a resident of Ruckersville since 2013. In her spare time, Ujena enjoys traveling, music festivals and all things related to arts and crafts. She also has two pups, Whiskey and Maverick, and loves spending time with them and her friends and family. Ujena joined our team in February 2017, but has worked in the administrative field for the past 13 years. She is excited to be serving her home community and we are very happy to have her with our practice!
